Standards and procedures
From your enquiry to delivery, in six clear steps.
The same process applies whether you are ordering ten branded shirts or fitting out a floor of offices. It keeps us accountable and gives you a trail your auditor can follow.
You tell us what you need
Send a tender document, a requisition list, a bill of quantities or simply a description. We read it properly and ask questions before quoting.
We quote honestly
An itemised quotation with clear prices and a realistic delivery date. No hidden extras appear later.
We source genuine goods
We buy from established brands and reputable suppliers, and we advise you when a different option gives better value.
We check every item
Goods are inspected against your order before dispatch: quantities, serial numbers, expiry dates and brand originality.
We deliver and install
Our drivers and technicians deliver, install where needed, and hand over with the paperwork your accounts office expects.
We follow up
We check that everything arrived as ordered, and we act on your feedback. That is how accounts become long relationships.
Quality assurance
Nothing leaves us until it has been checked against your order.
We deliver goods according to our clients' specifications, and our experience lets us advise on sensible alternatives when a specification cannot be met. Before any delivery we inspect the goods: quantities counted, serial numbers recorded, expiry dates checked and brand originality confirmed.
Products are checked against the standards set by the Kenya Bureau of Standards. We also review every account and project continuously, so the hundredth order is handled as carefully as the first.
- Goods delivered to your exact specification
- Genuine brands, verified before dispatch
- Products that meet KEBS standards
- Delivery dates agreed and communicated clearly
- Transparent, competitive pricing
- A fully registered and tax compliant supplier
Owner's involvement
The person who owns the company answers for the work.
Soland has full-time, hands-on participation from its owner and primary stakeholders. Decisions are made quickly, problems reach the person who can solve them, and our culture of integrity is practised daily rather than printed on a wall.
In practice it means you are never passed between departments. One contact knows your account, and if that contact is unavailable, the director will take the call.
What this means for your file
- Quotations that match your LPO line for line
- Delivery notes signed and returned promptly
- Invoices that agree with the delivery note
- Serial numbers recorded for warranty claims
- Proof of compliance attached when you need it

We aim to reply to every enquiry on the same working day. Quotations for large or complex jobs, such as a fit-out priced from a bill of quantities, may take a day or two longer.
Yes. We supply government bodies, private companies and NGOs against local purchase orders and tender awards. Our registration and tax documents are on the compliance page, ready to attach to a tender file.
For new clients we usually ask for payment on delivery, or a deposit on large custom orders. Institutional clients supplying an LPO can be invoiced on agreed credit terms.
We deliver across Nairobi and countrywide. Delivery within the Nairobi city centre is normally included; outside it, the cost appears as a separate line on your quotation so there are no surprises.

Send a tender document, a requisition list or a rough idea. We read it properly, ask any questions, and come back with an itemised quotation.
